Call us for a free initial consultation

If your application for social security benefits has been denied, you can call us at (864) 855-1661 or (800) 624-4731 and ask for Amanda or Betsy or e-mail us at deanhardt@osjc.com or lewis@osjc.com.  Amanda or Betsy will help you set up a free consultation to come into the office to speak with Mr. Grady Jordan (link to Grady’s page) in Easley or Mr. Nick Lavery (link to Nick’s page) in Clemson who will go over your case with you and explain your rights and what needs to be done in order to make the best possible claim on your behalf.  Mr. Jordan and Mr. Lavery are hard working, caring, and will be there for you throughout the process.  If your case requires a hearing, they will go with you and will know your case thoroughly in order to give you the professional representation that you deserve.

We handle both Social Security Disability Claims (SSDI) and

Supplementary Security Income (SSI) cases.

Mr. Jordan and Mr. Lavery are assisted by paralegals who are very experienced in Social Security cases.  They will be here to keep you updated on your case and make sure that we have all of the medical information that is available in your case.

The three (3) stages to the process

There are three stages to most social security cases: 1) initial determination, 2) reconsideration[B1] , and 3) hearing stage.  We help individuals at all three levels, although we usually get involved after the first denial.

Our Fee

Our firm earns a fee in a social security case only if we are successful in helping someone receive his or her benefits and only if there are back benefits due.  Our fee contract is based on the model fee contract recommended by the Social Security Administration, which is twenty-five (25%) of the back pay with a current cap of $6,000.00.

Remember you only have sixty (60) days to appeal a denial of benefits.  Call us today at (864) 855-1661 or (800) 624-4731 to set up your appointment to meet with one of our social security attorneys.

[B1]We could make a link for each of these stages and more fully explain them if the client clicked on them.  We could talk about what happens at each stage and a general time frame.
